The service. Exitr lets business owners create a confidential, anonymous listing that verified buyers can view. Exitr is a listing platform only. We are not your broker, agent, adviser or appraiser; we do not negotiate, value your business, give financial, legal or tax advice, handle any money in a transaction, or receive any fee tied to a sale.
Eligibility. You must be an owner or officer of the business with authority to list it, and you confirm the information you provide is true. We verify ownership and may remove any listing we cannot verify. Brokers and advisors may not list on behalf of clients except through the labeled advisor path.
Confidentiality. Buyers see only your anonymous profile until you approve an introduction. Buyers must accept a confidentiality agreement before viewing listings. We take reasonable steps to protect your identity but cannot guarantee that a buyer will not guess it or that information will never be disclosed.
Your consent. When you approve a buyer's introduction request, you consent to us sharing your name, business name and contact details with that buyer. You can decline any request and withdraw or pause your listing at any time.
Market snapshot and estimates. Any market data, comparable deals or ranges we show are general estimates from public information, not an appraisal, valuation or recommendation. Do not rely on them to set a price.
Your dealings with buyers. Any conversation, negotiation or agreement with a buyer is solely between you and that buyer. You are responsible for your own due diligence and advisers. We are not liable for any buyer's conduct, offers, or failure to complete a deal.
Your data. We use your information to run your listing and provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use listing information in aggregated, anonymized form that does not identify you or your business to improve our products.
Free service; no fees. Listing is free. We do not charge owners or take any fee from any transaction.
Limitation of liability, disclaimers, disputes and general terms. Sections 3, 12, 15, 16 and 17 of the Terms of Service apply to owners as well.
