For electrical contractors we use:
- Texas TDLR license file for every licensed electrical contractor (name, city, license status).
- Texas Comptroller franchise tax records for the year a business was formed.
- Florida DBPR licensee file for certified and registered electrical contractors, including the first license date.
- City building permits (Austin first, more cities over time) for permit volume, the mix of work and data center or utility jobs.
- Public deal announcements (press releases, trade press and SEC filings) for the deal tracker and "acquisitions nearby."
Virginia is coming once we load the state's license list.
We check each source's terms before using it, follow robots.txt, never log in to anything, and never collect LinkedIn data. We do not store owner names, personal phones, personal emails or home addresses.
